Meet Foluke Ololade, Family Lawyer
My journey to becoming a successful family law lawyer in Ontario has been one of determination, adaptation, and unwavering commitment to serving my clients with empathy and professionalism.
I was a practicing lawyer in Nigeria, and upon arriving in Canada with my family, I embarked on a journey to requalify as a lawyer, earning a Master's degree in Family Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. The transition was challenging, but it fueled my passion for the legal profession even further.
Initially practicing across various legal domains including immigration, wills, criminal law and real estate, I found my true calling in family law as my caseload grew.
I have been in the practice of Family Law over the past 21 years in the Niagara Region, and have now moved my office to Burlington, Ontario.
Why Family Law?
It allows me to connect with clients on a personal level. Family law clients are everyday people facing life-altering circumstances. I approach each case with compassion and understanding, knowing that life's challenges can affect anyone at any time.
There's no room for judgment or shame in my practice; instead, I offer support and guidance through the legal process.
My Mentor
My journey in Ontario’s legal landscape was significantly shaped by the mentorship of Ralph Frayne, a seasoned family lawyer in Niagara, Ontario, now late. Under his guidance, I gained invaluable insights into managing a family law practice and honed my skills through hands-on experience. Ralph's commitment to fostering young legal talents and establishing a supportive community of family lawyers has left an indelible mark on my professional ethos.
